The world’s on fire: where to donate and take action
Don’t scroll past this one. A short list of links with real impact — for Gaza, Ukraine, and LA protestors.
Over the past five days (okay, maybe years), it feels like America’s been cosplaying the 1700s again. Basic rights? The United States has never heard of her!

According to PBS, the Pentagon says troops will remain in Los Angeles for 60 days — at a cost of $134 million. Aren’t we allegedly trying to save money? Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth added,
“We stated very publicly that it’s 60 days because we want to ensure that those rioters, looters and thugs on the other side assaulting our police officers know that we’re not going anywhere.”
Oh. Okay then.
If you’re feeling that way too, you’re not alone. But we can still show up — for each other, across coasts and borders.
One place to start is No Kings Day, this Saturday, June 14 — a nationwide protest happening at nearly every state capitol. Here’s what the organizers say:
“On June 14—Flag Day—President Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. It rises up everywhere else. No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance.”
“The flag doesn’t belong to President Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it. On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings.”
I don’t know about you, but I’ll be at my local protest. If I’m going to complain about this country, I’m going to do it while taking action.
And if you can’t show up in person? That’s okay. You’re still part of this. Below are vetted, urgent resources and donation links to support people in the U.S., Palestine, and Ukraine — because mutual aid and solidarity don’t stop at the border.
